Q. What is included?
You will receive a comprehensive set of instructions for using the NOTA:BENE System, a set of worksheets which capture your details, checklists for your loved ones, folders and hanging files for organising documents, two bags for collecting keys and important items – all housed within a beautiful and robust filing box.

Q. Does this take the place of writing my Will?
No, it doesn’t. Your Will, along with documents like a Lasting Power of Attorney, Trusts, and Living Will, are critical for estate planning.
The NOTA:BENE System complements these documents by organising everything that goes alongside them.
Q. Would this replace my current filing system?
No. The NOTA:BENE System focuses on key life details and admin, so you won’t need to store old documents like bank statements, insurance policies or utility bills here. Keep your current system for those, and just reference it where needed.
Q. Can my partner and I share a NOTA:BENE System?
Yes! If you’ve chosen the same Proxy (trusted person), shared custody of your dependents and jointly own most of your assets, bank accounts, investments and property then sharing a System is a great idea. Simply purchase a NOTA:BENE Partner kit here to receive the additional personal worksheets your partner will need; the partner kit works seamlessly for both of you.
Blended families, partners with individually held assets and partners wishing to use different proxies will find it most beneficial to have their own System.
Q. What if I need additional or replacement worksheets?
Not a problem. We appreciate that there are classic car collectors and families with a menagerie of pets so choose your category of additional sheets and place an order here.
Q. How much work is involved in this?
In our experience completing the System would take around 20 hours. Start with the sections that are most important to you and come back to it regularly.
Think of it this way – on average, we spend about 30 hours planning a week-long holiday with research into flights, accommodation, bookings, etc. Completing your NOTA:BENE won’t take that long and the peace of mind will last a lot longer than that holiday.
Q. Can I return the product if I don’t think it will be a good fit?
You may return the product for a full refund if the package of files, folders and worksheets is unopened and the components are all included. We cannot reimburse for any return postage or provide a refund if the contents have been opened or items are missing. To initiate a return, send a request to help@notabenesystem.co.uk.

Q. Where do you deliver to?
We currently sell and deliver to customers in the UK only. Shipping to the Scottish Highlands and Islands takes longer than shipping to mainland and may incur a surcharge, depending on your postcode.
Q. What if I’m feeling overwhelmed? Can someone help ?
Absolutely! We offer a personalised service to get you started, either through an online video session or in-person guidance. Our CONSULTANTS will make the process easy and stress-free, ensuring everything is in place with confidence. See here.
Q. Do you have a digital version of this system.
We don’t offer a digital version for a couple of reasons: we believe that in moments of need, your loved ones will appreciate having everything in one place, ready to go. Digital documents often have to be printed to become truly useful—the NOTA:BENE System is already that practical file! Secondly, do you want all this information stored online?
